You have?  Seems to me you and Karl have largely adopted an "anything she said
would have been attacked so it didn't matter what she said" stance here.  (It's
kind of like saying "we're all going to die no matter what, so it doesn't matter
how we live", isn't it?)

making too much of it.  But I did suggest that even had she used meticulous
language she would have been slammed anyway.  Anything other than a weeping
confession and promise to retire from public life will be attacked.

Yes, the "blood libel" bit in particular would fall under the category of "worse
way" rather than "better way".

**I think it was only unwise in its rarity or obscurity, but since Glenn used
it, I think she just thought it was mainstream enough.
