Its mostly just me I think.  The word elite has been used fairly negatively
recently, so I think this was just my jerking knee.

Whatever.  I want to watch movies made by the *best* filmmakers, not just
average filmmakers.  And I want my country to be led by the *best* politicians,
not just average politicians.  Etc., etc., etc.

What's so bad about *that*?
