Of course, there are two ironies here:

One is that Hitler was democratically elected himself.

The other is that Hitler only made the trains run on time for the duration 
of his rule, which was cut short because of a nation-devastating war that 
he himself provoked.  (And pretty much his entire six-year rule prior to 
the war was spent preparing for that war.)
