I would imagine not.  More than likely the studio controls it.

And even if they had, that image standing alone would hardly have raised an
eyebrow.

Yeah, I was just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.

But do filmmakers usually review and approve posters, trailers, etc.
before they go out?  Would they see them at all?  Would they be able to object?
