For the record, I'm not opposed to the unions being taken down a notch and employees getting pay cuts during a recession. I am opposed to lies and political spin to justify it and demonize the opposition when they have been holding up their end of the contract and the pension fund managers had been negligent with theirs. You don't need to lie in order to justify pay cuts during a recession, especially when the political will has turned towards ending the deficit. > As a citizen, it's scary just how much the unions are > throwing their collective weight and warchests against Gov. More importantly, I see the entire union debate as cover fire for the *real* corruption (e.g. no bid fire sales of state assets). Get his opponents entangled with the traditional partisan issues where they won't win many converts, and get his proponents to consider him a hero and give him carte blanche with other issues. And that is why I'm firmly in favor of anything that takes Walker (and cronies like him across the country in both parties) down a notch. -- Nick -- dadl-ot mailing list http://mail.thehood.us/mailman/listinfo/dadl-ot_thehood.us http://news.gmane.org/gmane.music.dadl.ot
