If you are accusing unions of corruption, especially power-mongering
and failure to protect the very one's they've been charged with
protecting, then I agree.  And it's disgusting.  And concerning the
Democratic party of being financially beholden to corrupt unions in
suspect ways, you will get only agreement from me.

Okay, I'm willing to downgrade my accusation of "croneyism" to
"usefully naive".  I'll chalk the no-bid contracts up to a lobbyist
who slipped it past him and his staff, masquerading as a wholly
reasonable sale of state property which would be put to better use in
the private sector.  I mean, it is a 144 page bill; I can't expect him
to have personally vetted every paragraph.
