See, this is what I don't understand. The Left talks about how much is being
taken away, but when there isn't enough money, there isn't enough money. How
do they propose closing the deficit? On the national level, I guess you can
gut the defense budget, but states don't exactly have that option. So how do
you do it? Raise taxes? That's a risky prospect even when the economy isn't
in the tank. You may actually end up with less revenue going that route.
