For few years I was just the same as you both. If God exists he does not get involved. And I choose to believe He exists because I need to during the worst of my marriage (and the music of TST is great and didn't want to loose it) It took finding out my wifes adultary and having a small nervous breakdown to get me to pray again, just after listening to "Soon!" I prayed "God I don't believe you answer prayers but please answer this one - Help!" ... He did miraculously ... but others in the same He has not. Hestill treats us as individuals. Over the next year I decided to work out *what I belive and why*, get away form wishy washy emotional faith and look at the facts of faith. And find a good church not swayed by fads. The first church I went to, the sermon was Jesus is Lord and God, did not bother looking elsewhere and have been there 12 years (more answers to Help!) Short answer is Yes I'll pray for you.
