Sorry, but no. That is revisionist history. The aims were perfectly clear in Iraq when we went in. What to do after we toppled Saddam may not have been as well thought out but there was no question as to what we were going in to do. There is nothing clear about whether we are getting Qaddafi out. I would also note that when this criticism was brought up regarding the invasion of Iraq, many of these same people didn't see the absence of a clear objective all that of a big problem. Currently, the aims are about the same... get the guy out if we can.
