I don't know...if you look at the cost of living in L.A.? Everything is incredibly costly, but they don't pay any better than companies in Minnesota. Most jobs I looked at paid about the same or less than what was here in Minnesota-yet a closet of an apartment cost as much or more than a decent sized one bedroom apartment in Minnesota. I found in L.A. that the pay was similar to the midwest, but even living cheap in L.A. was more costly than the jobs were actually paying.
