I  suppose not, but still, the application of the clause is so far beyond
all of that it is ridiculous.

Right.  I get that.  But it certainly is a lousy measure if STATES can
endorse a specific Church. You really think the founding fathers thought The
Church of America would be bad-but the Church of Wisconsin would be cool?
