Yeah. This is not true. Bell does not claim hell does/might not exist. He states it does.

And yet, it doesn't. Afterall, if all you need to do is say the right prayer sincerely? The miser need not face the consequnce of that choice, nor the murderer his and so on. You can be forgiven a lifetime of cruelty and and get paradise yet someone who did good and worked to help people-but chose the wrong faith spent an eternity in torture?
Douhat seems to ascribe more meaning from Hell than Heaven...kind of like how many Christians prefer to define themselves by what they do not do-rather than what they DO.
