True, though a hardline take of "faith in Jesus is the only way to heaven" tends to exclude having exceptions.  I also am always fascinated by the parable of the banquet (and horrified by at least one Gospel version of it... skipping a party is worthy of being killed?  Really?).  It's interesting to me that the man throwing the banquet doesn't send his men out to find just pretty much anyone who will come.  The deserving guests disappointed him, so he brought in anyone they could find.  Not sure what that ultimately says about who would get in.
