One's assets, yes.  But not *every*one's assets.  He was very chummy with 
well-to-do types like Lazarus and his sisters, for example (they *were* 
able to afford a tomb for Lazarus, *and* they were able to afford that 
perfume that Mary dumped all over Jesus' feet).
