*I'm going to ask a charged question, hoping that the room will take the question seriously before writing it off.* Clearly, this statement /sounds/ racist, but must it be? Is this actually /automatically/ a racist statement? Correlation does not imply causation. Can't a person have a preference without it being full blown race-hatred? (I'm thinking here of black superheroes perhaps being of lesser objective quality than other superheroes, not because of race, but because of the quality of the writers. I can't think of any major black superheroes, but admit my knowledge of the genre is spotty at best.)
