Interesting. I was thinking that the ultimate test for racism is whether you are ok with your child marrying someone from another race. That takes it out of the realm of persona taste/attractions. Is this actually /automatically/ a racist statement? Correlation does not imply causation. Can't a person have a preference without it being full blown race-hatred? (I'm thinking here of black superheroes perhaps being of lesser objective quality than other superheroes, not because of race, but because of the quality of the writers. I can't think of any major black superheroes, but admit my knowledge of the genre is spotty at best.)
