Sure.  Of course, I hear the same about the gay rights movement.  That by merely suggesting to children that they ought not bully kids we are indoctrinating them that homosexuality is okay.  Which, of course, goes against those people's prefered indoctrination that it is not.

Or environmentalists trying to indoctrinate or children or whomever.

And, I suppose, on a technical level, anything you teach your child is indoctrinating them with our own biases.

I had a sociology professor, '83 0r '84 bring it up but counter it by saying that bringing up a kid with religion in reality gives them more free choice than bringing them up without it.  It is harder to come to belief as an adult than a child, and relatively easier to lose a beliefs held as a child when you become an adult.  Thought provoking at least.

It's just that this first exposure to his writing (I was only familiar with his penwork-never having read his books) and...um... really?  Each character speaks like what WND writers think "lefties"  and atheists talk like.  In general storytelling, he may be very entertaining...but if this is an example of his "message" mode of storytelling?  I'd say he is not that skilled.






From reading on his forum, his job(s) in Hollywood has him rubbing shoulders with some of the worst of the left, and also reading the comments on the ratfist comments section it may not as much as a strawman as it seems. He does encounter these comments directed at him.
