Good Grief Thom that isn't what he said at all. Not even close. He was saying, (I don't want to put words in his mouth), that for *him* not to teach his children what *he* believes with his heart and soul would be tantamount to child abuse. Penn Jillette, a hard core athiest, has acknowledged much the same point - if you genuinely believe in your heart that someone is going to suffer for all eternity; you know the means to avoid that, but don't tell them you are a major asshole.
