It is. you are saying one kind of discrimination/preference is always good and the other always bad. How is it not hypocrisy? If we are an equal rights society, than all people deserve equal opportunity that is based on their ability. If you condone either, you are saying some are more equal than others. I guess I should add that it may depend on what each of us means by nepotism and affirmative action.
