Were any of you aware of the Santorum google thing

I just found out about it. To get a word made up in 2003 to the top two google results as an attack on a then Senator who disagreed with your position seems slimy to me, (no pun intended), And it can't have been too much of a fringe thing can it? The lower case word is still at the top two results for "Santorum" on google. So, ye of all things equivalent, (Thom), do you have any examples of similar conduct from those on the right?
