The interesting thing is that, when it comes to the actual voting, one 
could argue that those voters who voted for Obama *because* he was black 
(and you can't say that that wasn't a prime motivation for many of his 
voters!) *were* engaging in an act of affirmative action, whereas the only 
voters who were even *capable* of engaging in nepotism for Bush were the 
voters who were actual members of his family.  So the affirmative action 
is, in a sense, far far more widespread than the nepotism, there.
