**so he did what that pissed you off? I found his active fear mongering in the lead up to Iraq troubling and I found he played fast and loose with information **he was p[arroting the administration wasn't he? And I am not ready to say it was all loose information. His highly secretive energy meetings that ended up seeming to benefit the energy and oil companies more than anyone else. ***seemed? And frankly you have described pretty much every administration and VP. I suspect had he not been in the White House, our push towards war in Iraq would have not been as strong. **I don't. I see no reason to believe that he had undo influence. I also felt he was a hypocrite as he would grouse about former presidents criticizing his administration, though he showed no problem being critical of the Administration that followed-who were still working to fight wars started by his boss. ***well lad di da. So you are outraged that one politician was a hypocrite? Are you equally outraged by Obama's hypocricy? People might argue that Obama laid the blame for many things at ush's feet... ***and they would be right. but then, the 80's White House laid the blame for things at Carter's feet all the way through the first Bush administration. **because of course, it they did it first it must be ok. That said, I thought his Bin Laden statement was commendable and classy. **so far Santorum is the only one whose statement I dislike. -- dadl-ot mailing list http://mail.thehood.us/mailman/listinfo/dadl-ot_thehood.us http://news.gmane.org/gmane.music.dadl.ot
