Frankly, this is more likely that Pam Geller's column. As I recall Bush and
Clinton were each accused of similar attempts to drive their public perception,
and frankly I can believe it is true.
I'd be more prone to buy it if it was closer to election day. That was always the joke... they already had Bin Laden in a cell...on October 2004 Bush would magically produce and announce "WE GOT HIM!" :) And if that had happened here? I would be more inclined to think it was just to done to get votes. :)
