Well, at least Obama was up-front about the fact that he *would* violate
Pakistan's sovereignty if he had to, during the 2008 campaign.  

***which cracked me up since liberals for years bitched that we violated
Iraq's sovereignty.


Although I think he presented it as something he would do *if* Pakistan
didn't co-operate in taking Osama out ... whereas it sounds like Pakistan
wasn't kept in the loop at all on this one.  (And why should they have been?

Apparently, back in the '90s, they were kept in the loop and someone in the
Pakistani government warned Osama and he got away.)

**I think that may be the greatest he said/she said moment of the whole
fiasco.
