If I am being charged and taxed to drive on those roads, and said money pays
to upkeep those roads, then yes, you're damn right I object to someone
driving on them for free because of his choice in cars.

And since when is Canada a hostile nation, considering we buy most of our
oil from them?

We import more oil from NON opec sources than from Opec, and Canada is the
highest single country (by nearly 2 to 1).  This is for both crude and
refined petroleum.  Mexico is nearly tied with the highest Opec Country,
Saudi Arabia.  

You might want to check your facts a bit before you trot out the evil
foreign oil meme.

Such a strange sense of fairness you possess. Are you really so bloodyminded
that you cant bear the thought of anyone else driving on *your* roads? Even
when that other person is spending money to help make the air you breathe
cleaner, the gas you buy less expensive, and your dependence on hostile
nations less severe? So strange to me.
