Wow.  Better than the second, I could certainly see.  But better than the 
first?

The first Hulk film doesn't even count, as it isn't part of the Avengers 
cross-over stuff that the second film is part of.

It's not exactly all that involving, though.  A colleague asked me on our 
way out of the screening whether I found the film "emotionally engaging", 
and I had to reply that I didn't, though there were certainly several 
points where I saw how it *could* have been.  I like Steve Greydanus's 
take on it, that the film consistently shows promise but eventually you 
realize it's never really going to deliver on it.

Oh, man, I hope that movie doesn't suck.  I never got into Marvel in my 
comic-reading days, but I used to be a big Green Lantern fan.
