Re: On the Elimination of Osama bin Laden

Karl, marque and reprisal has nothing to do with condoning torture by 
privateers.  He's refering to the claim by some that the torture of Khalid 
Sheikh Mohammed was justified because it ultimately led to the killing of Bin 
Laden.  I'll send a Reason article summarizing the claims in a separate email.
