Actually... his comments make me wonder...by his standards...what rights are there?  Soldiers and policeman and firefighters are ultimately slaves-as people feel we have a right to those things...and I have not seen much of a push to privatize the police and army, so they are not forced into slavery.  I don't see how protection from harm is any more a right than necessary life saving procedures.

His comments are logical if you presume that being a doctor carries no ethical responsibility.
