And then plans to go out with my sister last night -- a "grown-up" outing 
with just her, D and myself -- fell through.

And then I woke up *three times* this morning so that I could go puke in 
the bathroom.  Curiously, I also happened to see the movie Bridesmaids 
yesterday afternoon, in which there is a scene of several women all coming 
down with food poisoning at the same time.  Is it possible to "catch" 
something from a film?  Lord knows, the fact that I had those images going 
through my head weren't helping me on any sort of psychosomatic level.

So, a lovely weekend all around.  But hey, it could be worse -- it could 
have happened either *last* weekend (Mother's Day) or *next* weekend 
(Victoria Day).
