Is Franky Schaeffer projecting again?

I don't know why but I just googled him and got to his homepage where his new 
book is promo'd, (released 5/11 - is it out?)  On what evidence does he claim 
the "religious right is mired in perpetual sexual dysfunction..."?  One might 
argue that obsessing over the right wing's alleged "perpetual sexual 
dysfunction" is evidence of one's own sexual dysfunction but who knows...

My anecdotal evidence growing up in a right wing household is that I knew sex 
was a fun/good thing and supposed to be reserved for marriage.  My wife grew up 
in a far more legalistic home than I did and she has a very healthy attitude 
towards sex, (lucky me).  So when I see these kind of attacks, (the marketing of 
the book at least - I suppose the book it self might be more charitable), I tend 
to suspect more than a bit of projection of unhealthy 
repression/obsession/dysfunction on the part of the one doing the attacking.

clan for a bit and discover why the  religious right is mired in perpetual 
sexual dysfunction and weirdness  that creates a self-loathing culture ready to 
lash out at the rest of  us. And when they lash out, they do it all in the name 
of Jesus. Go figure.”
