I don't think it is, entirely. There are young earther's in Orthodoxy (much
to my chagrin).
However I do think that many strains of evangelical Christianity lead people
down the wrong path that end up pointing them to wrong (or
irrelevant) conclusions.
A radical acceptance of solea scriptura in this case.

As I'm one who holds to Sola Scriptura (along with sola fide, sola gratia,
Solus Christus and soli Deo Gloria) may I ask what you mean by radical
acceptance?

For me Wikipedia actually fleshes out my views nicely "Sola scriptura is the
teaching that the Bible is the only inspired and authoritative word of God,
is the only source for Christian doctrine, and is accessible to all-that is,
it is perspicuous and self-interpreting"

Comes under the Anglican 39 articles:
VI. Of the Sufficiency of the Holy Scriptures for Salvation.
Holy Scripture containeth all things necessary to salvation: so that
whatsoever is not read therein, nor may be proved thereby, is not to be
required of any man, that it should be believed as an article of the Faith,
or be thought requisite or necessary to salvation. In the name of the Holy
Scripture we do understand those canonical Books of the Old and New
Testament, of whose authority was never any doubt in the Church.
