George W. Bush was absolutely savaged by the MSM and then we found out he
wasn't as completely wrong or bumbling as he was made out to be. (President
Obama is continuing many of the same W policies that he promised to change
as soon as he got into office.) I think Sarah's another Conservative figure
that the Left loves to hate. Like W, she's frequently her own worst enemy,
but I do sort of understand the impulse to use the same tools in her own
defense as her detractors. I'm not saying it will be successful, but 'fight
fire with fire' is a historically an effective strategy.
