Sorry, end of school delayed my reply.

I liked the outsider perspective, too. Interesting to see what he thought of a 
subculture I've always known from the inside. Helped me gain a new perspective 
on some things I took for granted. I thought the book lost some momentum at the 
end, but overall it was interesting.  I haven't listened to much "Christian" 
music in a while and the book reminded me some of why that is. 

The Dave Bazan stuff was the most interesting to me as well. I'll be curious to 
see what his new album is like. I hope to get the chance to see him in June at 
the Wild Goose Festival in NC (which I have to admit I'm surprised to see him 
playing at, given his recent quarrels with Christianity).

I don't know if it was that tied together, as the book barely touched on any of 
the artists I binged on.  :)

I liked the book, I really appreciated the outsider perspective it brought (as 
the author is an agnostic).   It was interesting to see industry from the mouths 
of people who were "running" it at the time.  I was a bit shocked at how much 
Brandon Ebel would say, "Don't print that!"  The Dave Bazan stuff was really 
interesting (and relatable).
