Re: Shark Bite - GE Style

I don't disagree at all, but I think including all the facts, (including ones 
such as payroll taxes, state and local taxes, etc.), or more accurately omitting 
all the facts, does a disservice to the argument on corporatism.

There is no dispute that this country is run for the benefit of the uber rich 
and powerful and that if you aren't counted among them you are ignored at best, 
and royally screwed at worst, (and more often).  But I don't think omitting 
facts that might benefit the opposite viewpoint does anything but get those of 
us who acknowledge the reality of what this country has become labelled as 
conspiracy nuts or whackos.

Uh, what facts contradict the story?  Did you read the update?

You don't think there is a connection between Jeff Immelt, Obama, Congress and 
the health of GE?  The republicans are wrong, the issue at hand is not 
socialism, but corporatism.

I'm all for eliminating corporate tax, but I'm totally against the top financial 
firms paying no tax on the backs of every small and medium business in America.  
The corruption is rampant and there is noone that seems to care.
