I liked it overall...the crazy mish mash of stuff really worked well
for me. I did find a few moments of dialog felt stiff, specifically
when he had the father making "a point". But those moments were few
and far between (I liked the whole "parasite Corp"- very Green
Lantern). He did a great job of planting seeds that paid off in the
end. And I like the sense of humor. My biggest criticism is the
romance. It did not feel earned. He talks about terrible he and the
others were to her...and all he has to say is "gee, sorry I was so
mean?" and she swoons? Not buying that. Once the relationship is
going, it is enjoyable...it just seemed he won the heart of the girl
far too easily. :)
It was an enjoyable read...glad I picked it up.

He scratches an itch I didn't know I had. He writes / draws with
reckless
abandon, fills his stories with the zaniest combination of elements
(which
all somehow work in the end) and yet maintains a candor and a redemption
that totally works for me. He makes me want to be a bolder writer.
