Sure. On the other hand? This was championed by Breitbart. He "investigated" this based on an alert from two sources of questionable background... if there was ever anything that should make a person automatically suspicious... man...its like taking Michael Moore at his word to not question that aspect of this.

Sure, but that was not his defense or story. It was a discovery other people made.

It is really telling...for one, if it was a prank/attempt to frame him, they avoided anything illegal. He cannot do much other than complain. I am not saying Weiner hasn't made some dumb mistakes. And I've accidentally tweeted stuff I was not trying to tweet (especially when messing with Tumblr). So, I certainly see that as possible.
