And if she was just a bitch who told him it was aborted (regardless of
reality)?  Or if she did and tolf her friends it was a miscarriage?  

Does any of that make any difference?  Is it possible we had a pair of

If the child was miscarried, does that change anything? In my mind,
miscarriage is something that happens to you, but abortion is something you
do to yourself. The first is something you have no control over, while the
latter takes an act of volition. If this gentleman (and I'm being sarcastic
here) accused her of aborting a child that was actually miscarried, and then
trumpeted a falsehood in their community on a billboard, he's a Grade A
creep who (as Thom pointed out) can probably forget about getting another
girlfriend anytime soon from that area.
