FWIW, D and I haven't had any debt (apart from the mortgage on our home) since we sold the apartment that we had been renting out, about a year ago. We paid off the mini-van right away, and we increased the rate at which we make payments on our current mortgage; if we *don't* move to a bigger home (and I don't see how we can put that off for more than a couple years, what with the three kids sharing one bedroom etc.), we'd have this place completely paid off in a decade or so, I think -- rather than the 25 or 30 years or whatever it was when we first bought it. -- dadl-ot mailing list http://mail.thehood.us/mailman/listinfo/dadl-ot_thehood.us http://news.gmane.org/gmane.music.dadl.ot
