That's one.  There is also the cost of the disposal of CFLs as they are
considered toxic waste and now we are getting reports of hazardous
emissions.

I hate the cfls for what its worth, their light is sucky and some I have
bought do not last all that much longer.

I think you might be over estimating the cost.  We are talking about a 
slightly higher cost on bulbs that last longer.
