In hindsight, sure.  But having been that age and done plenty of stupid things I 
completely understand how it didn't happen that way, and it rarely does.  In a 
perfect world it would I suppose, but then in a perfect world you wouldn't need 
to try and stop somebody else because they'd do it themselves.

It's one thing to say it as a public service pronouncement, (even if lame and 
more often than not ignored), another to say it after the fact.
