Do you think his tweet was a comfort to Dunn's family or anyone else involved personally with the incident? What possible purpose did the tweet serve, other than provide Ebert with the opportunity to spout off about what he personally thinks about the incident. What value does that add? Ebert in many of his posts/articles, especially those not involving movies, regularly claims the high moral ground from which he makes his pronouncements. And please spare me the "we are all guilty" silliness. If we are going to consistently apply that methodology to our comments on this list we might as well shut it down.
