Many people are given to favoritism. I'm not one of them. When I disagree
with Roger (or anyone), I say so. He's tends Left while I tend Right, and
doesn't like some of the same gadget films that I do (The Usual Suspects
springs to mind). If anyone but Roger had written the tweet he wrote
yesterday, I would have thought the same thing.

The only voice?  You know this how?


I should think it obvious that I meant 'the only voice /that I saw/. That
sentiment is now explicit.

If Ebert had said Dunn was a jackass for driving at speed instead of driving
drunk, would you have thought any different of him? I suspect not.

I'm not so sure. The cult of personality is very strong in America — I don't
think that's a given (although I also think it should be).
