Okay, Mike, here's the reason this all seems, to me, like you simply
don't like Roger Ebert:

Sensitivity has never been your strong suit.

I have never known you to mince words, or dance around an issue, or
refrain from speaking your blunt mind about any given issue --
*particularly* when the issue is one that offends you morally or
ethically. I've known you, in fact, to take satisfaction in the deaths
of others whose worldviews did not jive with your own.

So it seems super-weird, to say the least, that you're suddenly
uber-sensitive to the plight of this jackass who took the lives of
countless innocents into his hands, because at the age of 34 (!) he
couldn't be bothered to give a sh*t. I'm not *blaming* you for being
sensitive to it, I'm simply saying it seems really, really out of
character for you. And given the fact that you've expressed your
extreme distaste for Ebert in the past, it makes your indignance about
the whole situation rather suspect.

But I like you.

:)
