I'm with you. The 'Nose 30 just aint it for me.  

I play in a 50s 60s band, and a Jazz Quartet and I don't even think it would be any good for even practice.

Power=Weight. The batterys that you need to make a bass heard would be like 4 Boat Batterys and you would need a fork lift to move it around. 

Somthing about Horspower, Motown, and bad backs from hauling those 100 pound+ cabinets around that come in matched sets, Huh?

I believe that amp was brought up before, but as I recall, it is primarily a guitar amp. I still own its little brethren, one of the original Pignose amps. That amp made me some good money twenty years or so back. I've played my bass through it, a job that it clearly was not meant for. It's a great amp to electrify your acoustic guitar or play a Tele through though. I tried out a Hog 30 at GC once, when they first came out, but didn't like it well enough to buy.

what about bass amps?? do they make bass portable battery amps 400WT? This ain't no bass amp dude! So lets get it right when advertising a item. A 5 or 6 or 7, bass string will rip this amp apart..
