I remember those basses, they were 3 single coil clear epoxied on a maple body?
long scale,maple neck,  they sounded pretty nice when they came out.

                  I just picked up a 1972 sunburst Gibson G3 for next to nothing. I've got to put in some new pickups in it.  I'm thinking of putting in two Dark Stars instead of the three single coils that it came with. I also, have to have a new pick guard made & some fret work done too. Other than that, it's no big deal.
