got me my first active bass in 78, an Alembic SBS-1 then next was a Carvin LB76, and my final active ... A Warwick Corvette 6string standard. I do have an upright but its acoustic, with piezo under the bridge still trying to get enough gain from that to plug into an amp. Yo Victa, whatsoever you do, remember this here.
