Re: BXR 100

 While I do not have the BXR 100 I do own the BXR300c and I honestly LOVE IT. 

 I have had several Bass Amps in the 30 plus years I have been playing and so far this is one of my Favorites. I would suggest changing the Speaker to a better more efficent speaker. I  put a JBL in and my Amp and it is Strong enough to handle anything that has been put before it ...without going higher than about 4 to 5 at the highest !


Dont Let someone convince you that your Gear isnt what is holding you back ..Besides Gear is only Gear anyway ..

Have this amp.. i know its not too good for gigs but its good enough for now.. any suggestions on getting optimal sound out of it the way it is ? preferably without pedals.. i have a bass pedal but i found my fingers got weaker when i played with it.. also im thinking about new strings.. i am running super slinkys and i like them alot.. anything better out there that will give some more bottom end ? or is it my amp ?.. lol.. also looking to jam with mellow folks in N.Florida
