Yes, I agree. I had the Schaller on a de-fretted Peavey bass. And it did wonders for that instrument. I found the bridge used at a guitar show and paid something like $20 for it. The Quan has caught on though, and it is the bridge most stores stock, including the biggies like GC and Sam Ash. Real easy to install {screws fit in the stock holes}, very easy to dial in & set up. This is just my opinion, but I think there are better bridges out there, than the Leo Quan Bad Ass Bridges, for the money. I think Hip-shot makes a better bridge. Also ABM & Schaller too. Remember though, this is just my IMO. --- In [email protected], Tim Peth <timpeth@...> wrote: > > > A million years ago (+/-), I bought a Rick 4001 that had been modified with a Badass bridge... it was cheap for a reason, I guess, and within a couple days playing it, all I could think was "why would somebody mess up a beautiful instrument like that?" > > Just be careful, that's all I'm sayin'. > > > > --- On Thu, 11/19/09, Michael <michaelhutch4u@...> wrote: > > > From: Michael <michaelhutch4u@...> > > Subject: [Bass Place] Bad Ass Bass Bridge added to a Jazz Bass > > To: [email protected] > > Date: Thursday, November 19, 2009, 10:11 PM > > Is the 80.00 plus bucks for the Bad > > Ass Bass Bridge worth the 80.00 bucks I saw that it was > > running for ? > > > > Thanks in advance > > > > Michael > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > Yahoo!
