Re: Replacement options for 15" custom ported cab?

How the heck did you get Hartke to even give you a price on a new driver? (do you know Mr. Larry Hartke Personally??) Whenever I talked to them or any authorized distributor, I'm told they will ONLY do one for one replacements (you send them a "damaged one", they will send you a replacement and charge you a flat rate exchange fee which varies on the model- they are pretty good in "stretching" to cover if slightly out of warranty but will not even show "mercy" if years out- plus their "turn-around" is ridiculous- heck I could never even get them to give me a part number?).

After much "social engineering" I recently found (this week) that I could purchase a new 15" 400 watt, 8 ohm, Bugera "Hard Attack" Aluminum bass speaker: Part#: X77-61500-52066 $89 plus shipping

Or

10" 240 watt, 8 ohm,  Bugera "Hard Attack" Aluminum bass speaker: Part#: X77-61000-02056 $69 plus shipping

Or

18" 1000 watt, 8 ohm,  Bugera "Hard Attack" Aluminum bass speaker: Part#: X77-61800-52072 $159 plus shipping

They are all "Stamped Basket" frames and weigh about as much as Hartke's

(please DON'T tell them I sent ya... it took multiple emails to and from Behringer support to give me this information and scouring the web only led me to finding complete/loaded Behringer cabs for sale)

Now here is my dilemma, 
Recone my "CAST" (warm bass punch in your balls but heavy as hell) Eminence 15"?

Try out a Bugera 15" Aluminum (LOVE the sound of Aluminum cones but usually need several to equal the same "punch in the balls")
Or
Try one of the super lightweight/efficient "CAST" Neo 15's (will it be as warm/punchy and have the "Transient Response" I'm looking for?)

Looking for opinions here folks, the more interjection the better (but no to JBL/Altecs/Fane/PEAVY- already tried them and not for me... although never tried the coveted "GUASS"...)
