if your going to add a tweeter to a cabinet.. don't use piezo, they sound c=
rappy , get a bullet tweeter from foster, or some of the other manufacturer=
s.=C2=A0 I also recommend what steve said, Use good drivers like JBL, ALTEC=
, EV which actually have a better range than eminence, or some of the other=
cheaper speakers, and dear god.. PLEASE don't do what i've seen=C2=A0 othe=
r bassist do.......... put car audio speakers in bass cabinets!!!=C2=A0 the=
y are inefficient,=C2=A0 sound like crap, and the impedance of the voice co=
ils is at 4 ohms per driver.

Yo Victa, whatsoever you do, remember this here. You can't hold no groove, =
If you ain't got no pocket !

      Hey Bass Bro,=20

I am an old 2-15" Dual Showman / Kustom (orginal)=C2=A0/ Traynor / Sunn =C2=
=A0type guy=C2=A0so I guess I'm the wrong guy to ask about cabs with HF dri=
vers, but check out the new Kustom stuff. It seems priced right, =C2=A0=C2=
=A0and then there is always good ol eBbay.=20

I picked up a couple of JBL M-151s on eBay=C2=A0 (one at a time) that I'm p=
utting into=C2=A0a spair old Kustom Tuck-N-Roll cab that i have . I don't h=
ave $200 in the pair including shipping. They are like D140fs on steroids.=
=C2=A0=C2=A0Thease bad boys can easily put out over 130db sound pressure at=
10' away with less than 100 watts driving them. (That will actually shake =
bear glasses off a table!) I don't ever play that loud but it's nice to kno=
w you have the gas to make it happen if you want.=20

The thing is if you want highs that set up is from Kanarsy. Although you co=
uld add a couple of 150W piezo horns to it. IPersonally I hate any kind of =
HF driver on a BASS amp but if you can take the harshness that could be a c=
heep way to make it happen.

Like I said, though. I am an old BASS player and I leave the treble to the =
other instruments.

If I see anything on Crag's list or anyone arond here with a cab that fits =
your specs I'll let you know.=20

Later Alligator.
